Vice President chapter Chi Zeta #262 of Phi Sigma Iota
Within the lawn in front of the Bello Center, there were a plethora of tables, each representing a department from the College of Arts and Sciences. The Modern Language department represented each of the languages that Bryant University has to offer. Those being Spanish, French, Italian and Chinese. For visitors that stopped by the table, there was a lot to see and do. On one end there was Chinese bingo, an abacus, Chinese candy and Jianzi, a traditional Chinese game similar to hacky sack. In the middle of the table were piƱatas, PLAFF posters, information packets about Phi Sigma Iota, sombreros and BUSCO t-shirts. On the other end was a French flag and Italian flash cards with Italian phrases on one side of the card and the same saying in English on the other side. There were a lot of visitors, consisting of professors/faculty, students and even Mr. and Mrs. Machtley. Everyone seemed to have enjoyed their time and were very interested in all of our table’s colorful decorations and activities that we had to offer.
